Went there on a Friday night. Seated promptly. Menu offers a variety of "American" dishes, and soups, salads, and sandwiches, in addition to moderately priced entries. There were also two specials offered that night, one of which was wahoo, a local ocean fish which we enjoy, for $25. BEWARE! Only after the entree was served did the waitress inform us that, unlike the other dinners on the printed menu, specials DID NOT INCLUDE salad and potato or veg. Gotta love it! Pay more, get less. Waitress offered to put in an order for a potato or veg, but said it would be at additional cost. That really soured our experience. The wahoo was OK, a bit over cooked and dry. Service was slow at the table. There are better restaurants locally, with better prices for what you get, IMHO.

We were pleasantly surprised by the food here. Been here twice and it was really good both times. My husbands steak was perfect and the mahi I had was wonderful as well. What the place lacks in atmosphere they definitely make up for it with the food. I hope this place makes it.

Wonderful restaurant. Food is always delicious. Menu offers lighter items as well as substantial dinners with something for everyone's taste. If you're an onion soup fan, don't miss it. Service is excellent and attentive. Christine and Jacqueline not only take good care of you with a nice personal touch, but often remember your preferences from prior visits. The owner is very attentive and happy to accommodate your requests and works hard to make your visit enjoyable. And they take reservations which is a huge help, especially during season. So glad to have them in the area, a real find. A very fine restaurant with the atmosphere of a comfortable and welcoming neighborhood place.

Wonderful find on the edge of Stuart and Hobe Sound. Excellent food with great prices! Definitely a must if you're looking to enjoy a quality meal at a quality establishment.

Although a little pricey, I thought the food was really great until I had their special one day. I can't even remember the name of the meat (it was supposed to be meat) but what I got was a plate full of fat covered with gravy. It was terrible so I haven't been back. Too bad because everything else I had there was very good. Goes to show, it doesn't take much to ruin a good restaurant. I'd like to give them another chance but my stomach says, "no, no" every time I consider it. Perhaps in time.

I have wanted to go here for quite a while mostly based on reviews. Wish I could say the food was great but can't say it. Scampi was bland as was the the seafood dish my husband had. Portions are good and food prices good but drink prices are high. The decor is nice and it is clean. I was disappointed, expecting better food.

We met our friends there from Hobe sound and had a wonderful dinner and dining experience. We had been there for an 80th birthday and that was terrific. We live in palm beach gardens and have many good restaurants also, but this place was great. Marlene & Robert S.

So amazing. Service is awesome, so personable and the owner goes around to every table welcoming his customers. Further, the food was amazing. My mother and I had the Mahi and the Flat Iron steak. Wedge salad is incredible. Perfect serving sizes. Apple strudel cheesecake out of this world. Absolutely nothing bad to say. I definitely recommend it!

Table service and food was very good, but the owner was very rude when we asked to be moved because the sun beats in. Too many good places to eat...the management lost my business

We went for the first time and thought the restaurant was excellent. We are light eaters and the menu had many selections...burgers, steaks, seafood, and salads for meals. My wife had the tomato/ mozzarella salad and wedge salad as her choices and was thrilled with their taste and freshness. I had the cream of asparagus soup and the farmers salad topped with a piece of salmon. Mine were fabulous! The staff is attentive yet allow you to enjoy your meal in private. The decor is clean with table cloths and linens with flowered at the table. A great find!

Omg... Lets start with it was our first time on valentines day and we were walk in but the awesome hostess made room for our party of 5 ! Then she sat us with a beautiful waitress named Vicki.. She was as awesome as the food... Loved the mussels, pasta cabenara... fruitta de mare and the dunplings and the wine, and creme brûlée .. Everything was excellent.. Highly recommend from our party of 5 from Boston MA

Saw this restaurant last night on open table and we gave it a try. Wasn't busy for a Saturday night at 7:30 but there were a few other tables and people at the bar. Fresh seafood salad was very nice, crab cake dinner was good. Just a bit to much filler and not enough crab. Steak was ok but a bit on the small side and lacked seasoning. Service was very attentive. Not sure about the atmosphere of the room. Appears to be "hunting lodge?" We plan to go back again because the menu has lots of interesting items. Give the place a try and outside dining is available....love that.

I tried this restaurant for the first time Friday night and I had a wonderful experience. I sat at the bar and had a pleasant young man serve me. I ordered a rib-eye steak medium rare and it was perfectly cooked and came with a great peppercorn sauce. I normally don't like sauces on steak however this was great. The owner VJ came over to check on me during the dinner. Overall it was an excellent meal with great service. My only request is to add a hoppy beer or two (Rogue's Dead Guy or Dogfishhead's 60 Minute IPA for example) for those of us who want to pair beer with our meal.

The 'Hunter's Salad' was fresh and tasty and the Bruschetta even better. Warm rolls were brought to the table, and I fell in love. Service was wonderful. Great place for a quick lunch. Not much to write home about on the interior decor, but the quality of food was worth the trip.

Food and service was very good, wait staff was very attentive and friendly, atmosphere is relaxed, but seemed a little too quiet for us and our 9 year old. We tried the wedge salad, French Onion soup and sandwiches; all were excellent. Eager to try some of the dinners and appetizers next time.
